🧭 Navigating the Vendortab: A Complete Overview

This guide walks you through every major vendorsection with clear explanations and references to the visuals you’ll find in the platform.

📋 Vendors Tab

The Vendors tab provides a complete overview of all vendors in your system.

You’ll see:

  • Vendor name & VAT ID

  • Assigned contact person

  • Last activity date

  • Compliance score (shown as a percentage)

You can filter vendors by:

  • Contact status (active/inactive)

  • Internal owner

  • Compliance score

  • Group or segment

  • Last activity

➕ Click the “Add Vendor” button to onboard a new vendor manually.

📤 Use the Export and Import buttons to manage bulk vendor data.


🗂️ Vendor Groups

Group vendors by category (e.g. Packaging, Raw Materials, Transport) for easier tracking and reporting.

To create a group:

  1. Go to the Groups tab

  2. Click “Add group”

  3. Fill in a group name and select vendors to include

Each group shows how many vendors it contains and can be edited anytime.


👥 Vendor Contacts

Manage all vendor contact persons in the Contacts tab. You can:

  • Search by name or email

  • Filter by vendor or contact status

Each contact has an access status:

  • Access – Contact can log in to Vendorvue

  • 🔒 No Access – Contact does not yet have login rights

To add a new contact:

  1. Click “Add Contact”

  2. Fill in the contact’s details: name, email, vendor, role, phone

  3. (Optional) Check “Give access to self-service” to enable portal access


🚨 Incidents

Track vendor-related incidents in the Incidents tab.

Each incident includes:

  • Title

  • Reported by

  • Vendor

  • Location

  • Date

To report a new incident:

  • Click “Add incident”

  • Assign it to a vendor and categorize its severity


📁 Import Vendors

You can bulk import vendors via CSV, XLS, XLSX, ODS, or TSV.

  1. Go to the Import tab

  2. Click “Upload your files”

  3. Follow the template format (you can download an example)

  4. Max 1 file, 10 MB

You can also access your import history for tracking past uploads.


🔎 Vendor Profile Overview

Click on any vendor to access their profile, which includes:

General Info

  • Company details (VAT, address, phone, website)

  • External and DUNS IDs

Compliance Status

  • Summary of document compliance (e.g. “100% Compliant”)

  • List of required and completed documents

  • Renewal dates and document status

Contacts and Owners

  • See or assign vendor contacts

  • Add internal owner(s) for better task ownership

Recent Incidents

  • Quickly see if the vendor has been linked to any recent incidents

Groups & Custom Details

  • View associated groups and add contextual information like raw material type or transport method. This can be customly made

  • Keep contacts up to date so Vendorvue can send automatic requests and reminders.

  • Use vendor groups to structure your supplier base.

  • Monitor compliance scores regularly, Vendorvue flags missing documents and guides vendors through submission.
